Here’s an awesome fly with several variations. Similar to the ever popular wooly bugger, the “Anytime, Anywhere” is a fly that John Bolton introduced me to, which has been a very effective fly on many creeks & rivers. Below is a link to a “How-to” for this great pattern.

Tellico in Late September
Just found a few photos from a fly-fishing excursion up past Tellico Plains, TN and thought I’d share them with you. There was a week of rain & the water was high, swift & murky. Got a few rises on my dry flies & my wooly buggers got a few interested glances from several nice rainbows, but no takes. Still fun, as always!

Went fly fishing yesterday @ North Chickamauga Creek with a friend. Gorgeous scenery and some nice red-eyed bass caught on a black & olive wooly bugger & a soft hackle fly. Caddis were plentiful, so i worked the soft hackle like a pro. Nothing like tying a few
